From left to right: main character, Dottie; secondary character, Californian rock-star and expert surfer Candy "Bubbles" Buffington; main character Tracy; and secondary character, New York supermodel (and step-sister to Bubbles) Cinnamon Rouleigh. In this image, Dottie looks on approvingly at her friends, while Tracy feels a bit inadequate while comparing herself to her super-tan friend, Candy.
